Within a backdrop of climbing roses and ivy, Fred, the ceramic topiary squirell, sits precisely in the centre of his artificial garden. The visual dynamics of the garden will change daily as Fred’s visitors are invited to throw him a series of colour coded acorns. And, using on site cameras, to leave a photographic record of their visit to the garden centre.

Location:

Dales Way path opposite Skelsmergh Tarn. Turn right 2 miles north of Kendal on A6 Shap road signed Garnett Folds. Follow green lane for approx 1/2 mile.
